The Yucatán is the safest state in Mexico[1], and Mérida[2] in the state of is widely recognized as the safest city in Mexico, and the second safest in all of North America[3]. It ranks high in public safety surveys and is known for its peaceful environment, clean streets, and strong local governance.

Motul
Hacienda Noah is located just outside of Motul. Motul refers to a Pueblo Mágico in the Yucatán state of Mexico, named after a Maya priest, and is the origin of the dish huevos motuleños. The town has a rich colonial and Maya heritage, including the significant San Juan Bautista church and convent, and was the birthplace of prominent Yucatecan politician Felipe Carrillo Puerto.
